Take The Black in Focus Survey
Are you a Black professional working in the television industry? Your experiences matter. Black Leaders in TV, in partnership with Aston University and the University of Nottingham, and with the support of Pact and the Film and TV Charity, is launching the groundbreaking Black in Focus survey. We need your voice to help us understand the barriers to career progression and the persistent lack of Black representation in senior leadership roles.
Why Participate?
For too long, the experiences of Black professionals in the mid-to-senior levels of the television industry have been underrepresented. While entry-level recruitment has received attention, the challenges faced by those striving for leadership positions remain largely unexplored. This survey is your opportunity to:
- Share your story: Contribute your unique insights and experiences to a crucial body of research.
- Drive change: Help identify the specific barriers preventing Black professionals from reaching senior leadership roles.
- Shape the future: Your participation will directly inform the development of strategies and initiatives to promote true equity and representation in the industry.
- Make a difference: Be part of a movement that is working to create a more inclusive and equitable television landscape.
About the Survey:
The Black in Focus survey is the first of its kind in the UK and your input is vital to its success.
- Anonymous and Confidential: Your responses will be kept completely anonymous and de-identified. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
- Quick and Easy: The survey is designed to be completed efficiently, respecting your valuable time.
Powered by Research: This important research is funded by Aston University, partnered with Black Leaders in TV, and supported by Pact and the Film and TV Charity, ensuring the findings are robust and credible.
